Taking Flight is a short film directed by Will Chehab, that takes place in Panajachel, Guatemala. A Mayan woman named Ingrid Villaseñor decides to do something about poor education in her community. Ingrid starts her own school in Panajachel, focusing on more than just education but helping to rebuild her community with meals for students and workshops for parents. Ingrid does her part in the community and she’s making real change happen.
