​El Libro Volador directed by Teun Brock, is a deeply engaging short film that follows a group of children in a rural village and school as they learn to read and discover the magic of literature. The books and education is funded by the Bibliobus project in Estelí, Nicaragua. This initiative collaborates with rural schools to help children develop a love of reading. The film highlights the efforts to bring literature to remote communities, fostering education and imagination among young learners. The film captures the children’s learning and process of imagination and wonder, highlighting the transformative power of storytelling. Through vivid imagery and a gentle narrative and directorial style, El Libro Volador invites viewers to reflect on the magic that stories can bring into our lives.
