Hearing & Beyond

Hearing and Beyond is a short documentary directed by Jaime Torres that tells the story of Lanh, a young deaf woman in Hoi An, Vietnam. As the only education center for deaf and hard of hearing children in the area, Hearing and Beyond provides a space for learning, connection, and support. Through her involvement with the school, Lanh discovers a community she had never experienced before.
