Ritmo En Los Barrios

Ritmo en los Barrios is a short film directed by Sarah Baker that takes us to the streets of Bogotá, Colombia, where music becomes a tool for personal expression and community building. It follows a group of young people from marginalized neighborhoods in Colombia and Milton, a piano professor who uses music to not only navigate the children’s harsh realities, but to shape their lives in an impoverished area. The film shows how music unites them, and helps them live happily in areas ignored by society. Through their stories, Ritmo en los Barrios portrays the resilience and strength found in the power of music.
